So I just got done watching the new Hootenanny DVD (at 6:30 this morning, don?t ask me why the hell I am up sooo early) and they did show Mike a few times, but they didn?t play. I wish they would have included them on this! I have to say that you guys in CA are lucky to have something like this. Just to see all those bands together and those freaking cars! I know for sure I will definitely be there for this event next year and hope that Social D plays!

How can SxDx not be on that dvd? They play the hoot down here every year since the shows first started. Who's the brains behind that decision.

They have skipped a couple years...they didnt play last year, and they didnt play the year Joe Strummer played (2002) and then Mike Ness did his solo act in '99 at the Hoot.

My hunch is that Social D would want some royalties from it and the rest of the bands didnt. Stray Cats and Little Richard arent on it either.

Yeah I saw the DVD for sale and I wasnt interested. They need to cough up some more Cha-ching to get those bands on it.
